You have it in stretch or zoom. They should only be used when you are watching SDTV or normal tv not HD. HD doesn’t need to be stretched or zoomed because its the full screen. Also, if you set it to auto DVI it should do it for you.

As Matt said, check the zoom controls. Also, make sure it’s connected as an HD TV. You need to either use an HDMI cable or component video cables and audio cables for HD. Coaxial cables and composite video cables cannot carry an HD picture.
