I have a 2.4 wifi connection connected to my Verizon DSL line.
I have (4) 5.8 Ghz phones, all connected to the same phone jack (Uniden system, base and 3 handsets), and all othe phone lines (Sat TVx2) connected throug DSL filters.
Whenever I make or receive a call, the DSL drops out. The WiFi connection stays on, but the DSL drops. I end up having to reset the DSL (Westell) modem after nearly every call. Rarely (1 of 10) a DSL will not drop, and I can continue fine.
Any ideas?

Thursday, February 4th, 2010i have a verizon dsl internet connection that connects 3 comps to the net, 1 directly, one wirelesly and one through a hub. the hub simply acts as an extension because i didnt have a single network cable long enough to connect the third computer. but its this third connection that drops occassionally, and i have to reboot in order to reconnect (unless i can figure out another way, it automatically connects to the net on startup). all comps run windows xp
any suggestions on how to fix or prevent this problem? thanks

Thursday, January 28th, 2010I am a person who likes to switch their telecommunications services a lot and now have 3 NIB boxes on the side of my house. I have recently just signed up for Verizon Naked High Speed DSL and AT&T Callvantage. I called Verizon and they told me that I need to get my Verizon NIB connected to the phone jack where I want Verizon DSL. I have a slight dilemma seeing as I don’t use the Verizon NID for anything right now except to connect the Cox NIB to the inside phone wiring. Since I already have a Verizon NIB I thought there must be an easier way to connect it to my inside wiring. I just want to know how I can connect my Verizon DSL without having to pay $200.00. Verizon Online Dsl Connection?
Friday, January 22nd, 2010I had my DSL on a separate line from my houseline over the past year. Everything worked fine. This past week I cancelled the separate line and planned to connect my DSL to the houseline. The houseline was switched to be ready for DSL and I plugged everything in and it works. I did not reinstall the software or anything and I am able to get online. The problem is when the phone rings, or if someone is on a call, the DSL’s Internet and DSL green lights go off and ultimately kick you off until the phone call is over, then it reconnects. I thought the filters may need to be reinstalled but when I insert the CD, it will not run, and displays Self-Registration Error: C:\WINDOWS\system32\MacroMed\Flash\Flash… error message. I tried to use my laptop then to install it, but received the same message as my home desktop. Any ideas how to fix this problem without having to be on tech support for hours?
