they had giving me a modem but now the modem shorted out or something ,now do i have to go thru them again to get another one or can i just put any dsl modem in?

Friday, February 26th, 2010Yes you will, when you change Internet providers each of them provide with their own modem/router. This means that usually they have to provide with the modem/router of their kind because they only provide support for their kind of modem/routers.
So, when you sign up for Yahoo! DSL they will provide you with the modem/router and all the cables needed. Also a CD with the Internet software.

Friday, February 26th, 2010I just moved from Florida to San Francisco and had to discontinue Verizon DSL because they don’t offer it here in San Fran. Unfortunately, I chose At&t knowing that they suck. I have had nothing but problems and my DSL isn’t even activated yet! Is it me or are all of the people that work there just stupid??
