they had giving me a modem but now the modem shorted out or something ,now do i have to go thru them again to get another one or can i just put any dsl modem in?

Unfortunately, I chose At&t knowing that they suck. I have had nothing but problems and my DSL isn’t even activated yet! Is it me or are all of the people that work there just stupid??
