I have verizon dsl and westell 327w roter and when some one is on the phone i cant conntect to the internet and we have 2 cordless phone and only one of them has a cord to the phone jack and its downstairs and it has the line filter on it.

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009It would play previously when I used AOL. One website, said I needed to enable Javascripts, so I did -Tools, Internet Options, Security, Enable Scripting. Is there anything else I can do. Obviously I am going to call Verizon tech support as well. I am windows xp on a dell inspiron laptop. I also have used quicktime with no problems. One of my housemates plays LotR online and probably downloads mass amounts of media files at the same time, because when I check the Verizon Router Page on our network, the bandwidth goes crazy high whenever he’s on, disenabling me to use the internet or play my own games.
Is there some type of way I can limit the amount of…speed he can use?
Need Some Info About Tennessee Utilities Costs?
Tuesday, August 4th, 2009OK, this is the deal. I will be moving from Massachusetts to Tennessee soon. I’d like to live in the Lebanon area, and need some info about utilities.
The apartment I’m looking into covers gas, water, and trash pickups. That leaves electric, phone, internet and satellite/cable.
My question is this. What do those utilities average. For example, right now, I have the bundle deal from Verizon (phone, long distance, FIOS internet and DirectTV), and it averages $150 or so a month. My average electric bill is $100 or so. I estimate that it will be cheaper in Tennessee, but would like some one from the area to give me a head’s up. Thank you in advance.

My idiot brother put a password on his computer, and he forgot it three seconds later. Literally…
Nothing else worked, so I formated the computer harddrive.
Now everything is gone, it is like we JUST bought the computer new. I have verizon fios on this computer which I wish to run on the other. The cable is connected and everything but it will not work.
My question is more of a request.
Can anyone please give me the steps to re activate the internet connection? If possible, where to type in the ISP #?
The computer is a MICROSOFT XP from Dell.

Road Runner ,It worked perfectly fine.
I no it’s not my computer Cus i have removed evry installed program except for stuff like fire fox I’ve made sure nothing consuming is running in the processor.
my computer has delayed input on evry program sometimes when I turn on my computer none of my shortcuts work, and I have to restart in order for them to work, but the moment, I switch to a different connection my computer is fast as if it was still brand new and the verizon network im on wasn’t always like this… what is goin on? does it have to do with somethng in my newtork or my modem ahwt do i do?
