My DSL modem had a surge and is behaving awkward, I cycled it, reset it, changed settings around and it continues to do so. I’ve contacted Verizon by email and they only send “blanket” letters, their Chat technicians don’t know anything that’s going on and say they are unable to support me because the modem is no longer under warranty. I guess they don’t understand that DSL is a “Service” and a modem is required for that service and should be waived of any warranty. They refuse to work with me and I would like a new ISP in the Seattle area, anyone know a better service please let me know as Verizon does not treat their customers as if they care. I’ve been jumping through hoops trying to get their support for months.
